Danny Barton – Managing Director- danny@thetelecomshop.co.uk
Background: Born many years ago in a small village near Perth Australia called Kalamunda. A total sports fanatic, in his early years he played cricket professionally. Suffered a major injury at a young age and moved in to telecoms. Now has a vast telecoms knowledge having spent the last 17 years in various telecoms sectors.
Family: Married to Samantha Barton and they have 2 daughters, 2 dogs, 3 cats, 4 turtles, 3 giant french rabbits, 2 dragon lizards.
Funny Facts: Claims to be the best darts player at work yet still ends up losing and subsequently making the staff coffee.
Role: Still very hands on mainly deals with purchasing and has an active sales role. Despite being at the helm also chips in as coffee boy when required. Is the best boss in the world and is responsible for writing website blogs!

Samantha Barton – Accounts / Company Secretary
Background: Born in Brighton and travelled to live with Danny in Australia at the age of 22.
Family: Married to Danny Barton with 2 daughters and the same ridiculous amount of pets as Danny.
Funny Facts: Somehow manages to do school runs, keep the family and pets fed whilst running the company accounts!
Role: Primarily Samantha looks after the accounts and payroll side of the business.

Vaughan Curtis – Commercial Director- vaughan@thetelecomshop.co.uk
Background: Born in the same small Village near Perth Australia as Danny has now been In the UK for the last 10 years.
Interests: Claims to be a great tennis player (never proven) He’s also a family man who loves spending time with his wife and daughters.
Family: Married to Serena, they have 2 daughters.
Funny Facts: Has not adjusted well to the UK climate- still has 5 layers on in the middle of summer!
Role: Vaughan is our all rounder. He is heavily involved with the financial side of the company whilst still actively selling and managing the staff.

Serena Curtis – Accounts Payable
Background: Born here in Rustington, Serena has also spent many years living in Australia with Vaughan.
Family: Married to Vaughan, they have 2 daughters.
Funny Facts: Is so tight with money that we all have to work in the dark.
Role: Serena looks after the accounts payable side of the business.

Mark Haselip – Technical Director- mark@thetelecomshop.co.uk
Background: Mark was also Born in Rustington having always been interested in technology he found telecoms to be his forte.
Interests: Running, cycling, receiving golf lessons from his son, and he is a huge F1 fan.
Family: Married to Emma, they have a son and a daughter.
Funny Facts: David Coulthard once pushed his golf buggy when it broke down!
Role: Mark is responsible for the technical side of our company. He occasionally still picks his tools up and goes to site when required. Mainly offers phone support to engineers and customers. He also sells.

Emma Haselip – Marketing Director- emma@thetelecomshop.co.uk
Background: Emma was born in Southampton and is a photographer. She is our resident petrol head with a passion for cars and her British Bulldog.
Family: Married to Mark, they have a son and a daughter.
Funny Facts: Has the world’s worse laugh. Please do not make her laugh on the phone!
Role: Emma looks after the online side of our business. All our photography is done by Emma.

Jan Struik – Administration
Background: Born in the north of England, Jan moved to Surrey at the age of 4 and to West Sussex, with Neil in 2005.
Family: Married to Neil, they have a son and a daughter.
Role: Jan assists Emma in developing the website and carries out a variety of administrative functions.

Neil Struik – Parts Manager
Background: Born in Surrey, Neil moved to West Sussex in 2005
Family: Married to Jan, they have a son and a daughter.
Funny Facts: Abandoned at birth and adopted by a group of Patagonian spiney anteaters. Back with humanity now- they still keep in touch.
Role: Neil ensures we have all parts to refurbish our stock |
